Be prepared to not sleep for 3 days. Don't forget you need nourishment, not just coffee and Red Bull. :D
I can't stand Red Bull. Aside from coffee, I've found a Gatorade along with a snack of an orange or other citric fruit works pretty well as far as keeping me energized. :)

Now to get working on getting some extra money.

WOW! Don't due this unless you are interested in the collection aspect of the AES.

After you get your AES(and by the way I would buy a modded one, component out on these look so great), then buy this converter.

2 places that sell them
http://www.neostore.com/Super-MVS-Conve ... p/1178.htm
http://www.arcadeshock.com/items/access ... detail.htm

This lets you play much cheaper MVS games, but it gets even better. Next you buy this guy...

http://www.jammaboards.com/store/111-in ... 7dd54f87bb

Which has 111 of the best Neo games. All the Metal Slugs and fighters you can handle.

So you can spend $500 on a AES copy of Metal Slug 1 or around $350 and have over 100 games.

I'm interested in the collection aspect as well :D, otherwise I'd go for a CD
