I'm a fan, but I will turn down any friend requests. Just saying ahead of time.

I think I'll stay under the veil of anonymity. I can see a lot of people becoming a fan and that sort of exposure is invaluable.

Re: Official Racketboy Facebook Page
I touched on this in my previous reply at the first page.
Is the Facebook Page to generate more exposure and gain new members? Great Ideal!
But (sorry for negative) with some of our great members already becoming signed up will I lose some of their ideas and contributions that get lost over to a Facebook post? Also will other brand new members stay on Facebook, maybe never read their fresh contributions back here on Racketboy?
Just drumming up idea of maintaining the Facebook page simply as an Exposure and Recruitment tool back to this Racketboy site. What does everyone think?

I'm 16. There are a few younger than me on the forums too so trust me you aren't the only one.Arbitern1 wrote:Joined.. I feel weird because im the only one under twenty that will join but whatever...

Re: Official Racketboy Facebook Page
I can't imagine this being the case. I agree 100% that any content of value could and should be directed here instead of a Facebook post. I don't think many of the discussions that will happen on Facebook will be anything to miss out on that you haven't gotten here already and daily at that. What I think the Facebook group could achieve is possible get-togethers or events that are in areas that maybe people want to get a group together to attend. It's easier to do that on there with a dedicated page to such things.CRTGAMER wrote:But (sorry for negative) with some of our great members already becoming signed up will I lose some of their ideas and contributions that get lost over to a Facebook post? Perhaps racketboy has some ideas brewing as to how to capitalize on the network aspect of FB apart from the boost in exposure and membership caused here. Time will tell, but I'm not worried about postings going one way or another.
Re: Official Racketboy Facebook Page
All my content will be staying here for sure.
I'm thinking the FB thing will be more of a marketing thing and/or reminder for fans that don't always stop by the site all the time.
Every little bit helps, ya know
