Very true, a region free PS3 release would be just fine. I don't exactly know how the japanese arcade fighting scene is right now revenue wise. If it is doing well financially that would help the possibility of the game being made and thus ported. Super SF4 isn't even coming out in arcades though, and with SF4 being a massive success in their arcades it seems like a bad sign for Japanese arcade culture.

I think they should do the XBLA releases you mentioned for sure. SF3 T.S. and Darkstalkers would do really well I think. It would allow new players to check them out that don't have retro systems or are too young to know or remember them. Its amazing how old I am getting, people that are 20 years old were about 4 when Darkstalkers came out.
