The content that playon sends over to your console is standard dlna or webpage in the case of the wii. I don't think there is any risk associated with the console side of things.

The worse that might happen is that Hulu may find a way to work around playon.

You should check into the unofficial plugins and scripts because they offer a lot more content.

Thanks. I put ones for Comedy Central and Adult Swim on there for my wife since I know she likes that stuff. I have never used Windows Media Center before so I am trying to figure that out so that I can watch movies stored on my HDD through the 360. I am kind of OCD though so I want them well organized with poster or box art and stuff.

Playon has a plugin for local content as well. I don't think you will get cover art though.
