Should I play Xenogears or Suikoden II next?

I think fingersmaloy pretty much hit the nail on the head w/ Xenogears. My big problem besides how lousy the actual game is, is that a lot of the story won't make sense for a long time. If you're going to be playing in half-hour spurts, Xenogears is NOT the game to play. It has it's own language almost. The things that people talk about in the cutscenes don't seem to have any bearing on what is going on in the game, and they won't for a long time. I thought the whole thing would have worked much better as an anime. As a game, it's awful.
