And its remake is on the Gamecube as wellMyollnir wrote:While that's true, I tend to forget that when it comes games that are most associated with the PS1. It does slip my mind sometimes that FFVII and VIII were on PC also for instance. Though IX was exclusive so I can count that.deathclaw wrote:I really don't think so...most of the games were not exclusive, and were on one or more systems, mainly PC, DC and N64.AppleQueso wrote:Oh man the number of ps1 exclusives is absolutely staggering. Just name a ps1 game out of the blue and you stand a pretty high chance that it's an exclusive. From the rest of what I have it's getting quite thin - Alundra, Breath of Fire III and the Crash games. Had to check on MGS and that was on PC too...
I've got no signature.

Medievil was also released on the PSP, I have it, not played it yet.Scooter wrote:Medievil I and II were exclusives and lots of good fun. The Syphon Filter I, II and III were exclusives and also lots of fun.
Blasto! was a good game, although slated at the time. Needed dual joysticks though, you could use the d-pad but wasn't so easy to do jumps. Had the "sudden death" syndrome, however the "cartoony" basis of the game I think worked.

Actually, the PSP game was Medievil Resurrection and they changed the game a fair amount. The basic storyline was the same, but the game was noticably different.bacteria wrote:Medievil was also released on the PSP, I have it, not played it yet.Scooter wrote:Medievil I and II were exclusives and lots of good fun. I REALLY tried to like Blasto, the concept and art design were great but the game play and controls reeked and it was real easy to get to a spot and have no idea of what to do or where to go. The sudden death thing didn't help. Still, if I could find a reasonably priced complete copy I'd still pick up a copy.
Ow! My small intestine!
Re: PS1 exclusives
there are so many PS1 exclusives that even beginning to name them is a lot of work
but the racketboy articles on defining games and hidden gems are great starting points
