I think the masses will eventually get sick of games due to the over saturation of uninspired, mediocre games and playing the same shit over and over, resulting in some sort of crash. Kind of like it did in the 80s but not to that extent. Then out of nowhere someone will have a innovative idea and breath new life and revolutionize the gaming world again. I mean, isn't that the way it always happens? I think history will repeat itself once again.

Bring it back, and add that flying red beam we used to see in the commercials. My friends and I would play Lazer Tag in the woods or basement for hours, and it was always a great time.

Quick story: This bad ass toy came out, I believe, when I was 8, and wanted one so bad. Problem was, with a price tag of $100 for one gun and sensor, I knew my parents wouldn't be shelling out the cash for it. So, my Dad and I came up with a compromise; If I could do 100 straight military style push-ups, my Dad would give me $100usd. Man, I trained and trained, week after week, and could barely get to 70.
One night though, I cranked 100 out in front of my parents. That night, my parents took me to Venture (it was like Target in Chicago) and bought 2, not 1 Lazer Tag guns and sensors. I remember it like it was yesterday.

My Father does too. He'll still bring it up, but not in such a positive light. "Luke, the point was for you to keep doing 100 push-ups a day, and turn that into 200, 300, 400 push-ups a day. Could you imagine what kind of shape you'd be in if you were doing over 100 push-ups a day since you were 8?".

Well, I can still crank out 100 in a row, but barely, and definitely not 200, or even 125 for that fact.


Anyway, yeah, bring back lazer tag, with visible lazers.

Yeah, but it's not the same as owning Lazer Tag. Paintball is fun, but I don't know, always playing capture the flag and being restricted to one area gets boring. And the biggest part, NO Lazers. I want to dodge Lazer Beams. I mean, who doesn't want to dodge Lazer Beams?

I owned some Lazer Tag guns, but they were pretty cheap. They wouldn't register even of you put the gun on the target. The Lazer Tag place actually has guns that show the lazers traveling across the room. There's also Video Game Music playing in the background.
