I agree, they do look much better w/a black case. What are the specs on your NullDC PC? I've been meaning to do that for some time (throw together a box for DC emulation), it sounds like an awesome idea.

I'm running the newest version of NullDC. Some games still aren't emulated that well like Marvel vs Capcom 2, but a lot of shmups are emulated really well, sometimes they have small sound problems but their very playable.

edit: You don't need a system this powerful, I use mine for SFIV but you could probably use a P4 3ghz with a cheaper graphics card and play most of the games on their without problems.

Now that stick looks very nice, but I'd recommend using Vinyl Dye for your next one as where Krylon Fusion wears off in about two months thanks to sweat and wear from general use Vinyl Dye literally bonds to the plastic of the sticks case and soaks into it chemically altering the color to whichever you've chosen and permanently bonding it. Plus Vinyl Dye is an extremely thin substance and if applied properly is indistinguishable from if the stick were to have been molded out of actual black plastic.

The average price on Vinyl Dye is $5-$7 a can and it can be found at most auto parts stores (Advance, Auto Zone, Napa, O'Riley, etc..) marked as paint for vinyl or something similar in case you're wanting to try it out at a future date. Word to the wise though, if you do decide to use it do so in an extremely well ventilated area as Vinyl Dye has a penetrating and lingering odor during the drying process. A benefit to that though is that your painted pieces will dry completely in 10 minutes or so and completely bond permanently in about 12-24 hours.

Thanks, I'll be sure to try that next time. I looked online for a while before painting this case, but I couldn't really find anyone who explained using the vinyl dye as well as you did.
