What are the cheapest Game Boy games worth playing?
Re: Since there is no article yet, what are the cheapest........
I would have to call Wario Land 3 one of my favorite gameboy color games of all time.

90% of my gaming is on my Gamecube Game Boy Player. If I want to be away from a console though, I use my GBA SP.

Did you end up finding any bargains? Few of the original Game Boy games that I've searched for on eBay are what I consider expensive. But here as some of the cheaper titles that I personally enjoy and the price I paid: Super RC Pro Am ($4), Tennis ($3) and Mole Mania ($5). Tetris and Six Golden Coins are probably the epitome of cheap GB excellence, I can only assume because they are so common place.

Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land is my favorite Gameboy platformer. It's an excellent game for about seven dollars.

Kid Icarus - of Myths and Monsters
got mine for about $15
not *the* best platform/adventure of all time, but close enough
:edit
I prefer to emulate my games on my NDS
I've got a worm-light for my GBC (both purple); but I never manage to get it just "right" and I love the colors of Link's Awakening DX, so I *need* a back-light
(and no, I can't afford buying a new Gameboy of any kind, if I could; I would)
