I can see how you got that from the article, they're being a bit sensationalist about it. The hackers releasing the exploits used very similar .mac account names to their hacker alias. Apple banned them based on their username. I can't see Apple banning every single person who has jailbroken their iphone. If apple banned me I wouldn't really care since you can install .ipa via safari now using Installous. So I'd just delete the apps that I bought and paid for then download the cracked versions. Banning regular users from the app store will only hurt them in the long run.
