I'll do you one better:

People already pay extra for those "trendy" jeans and whatnot that are faded and have holes in them, right? Perhaps someone believes the same will hold true for iPhones. They give a bum a brand new iPhone, let them use it for a little bit, then come and swap it out after a while. The bum starts "breaking-in" the new one while some yuppie sells the "worn" one for twice what it's worth!

That way, people can get their ultra-cool faded iPhones while still looking down on the homeless because they just have a regular iPhone; those are soooooo last year.

That's a pretty crappy day...at least you didn't see any non-handicapped people parking in handicapped spots.

I have literally seen several bums in my area with laptops, LAPTOPS!

there used to be this panhandler/bum in my town who drove the nicest mercedes. he made a pretty good living.
