Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What is it with women and Pride & Prejudice? My ex also loved P&P.

Is there a similar common denominator for men? My guess is porno.

I'm reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

It's just okay.

I actually got my girlfriend into gaming so she doesn't mind. :P

Though it helps that I don't overspend on video games. I did spend too much time playing some of them (wow springs to mind) and had a few fights over that, though like an addict now that I'm clean I know I was wrong.

Just try to get her to play some easy to get into games.

Mario Kart Wii, Wii Sports, Little Big Planet, Excite Truck, Syberia, ANY puzzle game (tetris, columns, Dr robotnik's mean bean machine, ect.). all of those games have been a huge hit with my girlfriend. (she also liked battlefield 1943 for some strange reason though she won't come close to any other first person shooter game. yeah I don't know what's going on there either). Try to get your wife into playing just a few of those games, or any other you think she'd like. As I've said puzzle games seam to be a huge hit with women.

I refuse to believe your woman doesn't have frivolous interests of her own.

My wife plays a lot of Wii Fit, usually in shorts and a sports bra. I like to watch.

Two great gifts to man, the sports bar, and the sports bra.

My GF is supportive, and has even lent me money to buy large lots before. It helps that her father is a big antique collector. My hobby pales in comparison.

She doesn't play video games, but has no problem sitting with me as I play an RPG or action adventure game with a good story. We just started Ocarina of Time. =) From her position, it's generally better than anything on TV anyway.

So, I guess I can't really relate.

I'm lucky my wife likes Mario, but she hates Sonic. I was a Sega kid, and she was a Nintendo kid. The conflict is unavoidable.

My god, that's the retro game version of Romeo and Juliet.
