Well, we don't really need all the metrosexual/gay comments, but yes that is a HORRIBLE commercial
Wasn't Sonic cool once? Seems like ages ago now. Now he is basically Mario. No attitude, edginess or any of what made him different during the old Nintendo/Sega wars. Might as well just have his big head pop out of the title screen saying, "itsa me Sooooonic"
Let's give him some mushroom power ups while we're at it
Time to retire the has been Sega. How much more are you going to tarnish his legacy/image?

Last chance, let's hope for the best. I was listening to some Project Chaos Sonic & Knucles inspired tracks yesterday and really missing THAT Sonic eraXonticus wrote:I guess we'll see after Sonic 4.... I completely agree. I always go back to those games and replay them. I've been watching the Sega Blogs the past couple weeks, and the contests they've been holding are great for old school fans... plus they promised to spill the real name of the game, and some concept art for the first level plus more this week.

Cheers!

I watched about half of it, it doesn't even look like an ad, it looks more like those YouTube videos of 'Emo'/Scene kids acting like they're playing a game (and ditching their personalities) while throwing in some gameplay footage from the game's website.

GamesMaster gave the game 83%, but it's the same publication that awarded Manhunt 2 Wii with 88% iirc. Will have to read more reviews before taking the plunge!
