Stories about dead babies on a website/community for (soon-to-be) mothers will quickly catch a reply.

If someone were to come on here and post a picture of someone else's collection, claiming it as their own and boasting about it to everyone, they'll probably get a lot of attention, too.

It is probably to inject a little bit of excitement into their dull lives like others have said. I actually feel really bad for these Trolls, because they are stuck in a crappy, monotonous life situation for an extended period of time, and have the internet as an emotional outlet. It is very sad when people waste an extended period of their life to throw curve balls at sympathetic people in hopes of living an internet fantasy.

It's kind of like housewives who read romance novels, but interactive.
