All that said, if this opens a way to put PS1 games that you already own on your PS3/PSP, I'm all for it. I don't mind paying for Sony games, but once is enough.
My game-related blog.

But the PS3 is backwards compatible with PS1 games.... unless you mean playing them off the hard drive.

And if you have CFW on your PSP, it's been possible to play PS1 games for a while.

Yeah, there's no need to download PS1 classics to play them on your PS3. Hell, I've been playing the hell out of a PS1 copy of Darkstalkers 3 on my PS3 lately, and I doubt we'll ever see that on PSN.

Piracy, tisk tisk nooblet,
Buy your games, Piracy is only acceptable once a product is dropped from Manufacture, and not being produced. Then the companies that work hard for your enjoyment have all of the money they need.

And I'm always the lazy type that doesn't want to have to switch discs all the time.
I don't mind buying my favorites, but I would love to have a box that has them all stored on there.
And trying out some old gems before buying is always nice.

I thought i cleared my initial statement up with my second comment, I maybe own three (four but i also have the origanal of 18 wheeler) copied games in total out of my collection of about 350 (no handhelds) Ive spent a lot of money on my sega stuff -i've posted my collection on the forums- and for some reason a lot of cash on the ps3 even though i dont use it that much. I did'nt mean to come across as someone just impressed with the idea of freebies, just a nod anyone remembering the sony v sega years of yore
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.
