Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yeah, I kinda figured cart-based systems were the easiest to make clones of.

Which is why is still puzzles me that no one has made a Neo Geo MVS/AES clone system yet. The only thing holding me back is how expensive they are, and that's when you can actually find them.

Hey, you said we were throwing technological feasibility out the window.
D'awww, I just derailed this thread. I put in hedging language just so that some tech geek wouldn't tell me it's impossible for a system to run every SEGA CD-based game.

No, the i-Que is an official Nintendo product and was their first official console to be sold in China.

I'd like to see a Sega Saturn clone that has virtually every Saturn game ever released for it stored into memory on its own built-in hard drive. Also, it should have RGB and component out :D

ITT people greatly misunderstand how video game technology can feasibly operate.

This.

Also, I would like to see a Dreamcast clone. Basically, everything has already been said about it that I was going to say, except make it front-loading, a quieter fan, and an updated web browser.

One more thing, I hate to be a downer, but if you think about most clones, they rarely add any new features to it, except a new case. Sorry, I'm just saying. But, then again, we've only seen modern clones up to the SNES era as of now. Nothing CD-based. We'll see how things go.

Yes, you are right, how stupid of me, I forgot the history! Nintendo made the iQue for the Chinese in the hope of making it less attractive for them to make fakes and capture the market. Pity they didn't release it in America/Europe too, once they stopped making the N64.

Until they can perfect the current clone systems (Im talking to you Retrogen and Gen Mobile because I want to play PS4 & Bloodlines) I see no reason to make more...
If they did perfect the Genesis I would love to see the 32X CD clone mentioned earlier.
And if they are going to move forward to next gen systems I think the Saturn would be great if if played burned images... Remember the reason they make clones of the 90's systems because of the amount of games still floating around. Making a NeoGeo or Saturn clone would not be too profitable since there are not too many games floating around - Why would a consumer buy a system that they can not get games for?
