Sega Saturn is my favorite system. Got so many great games on it, and I also consider it the system that first got me interested in importing. It would have been worth it for Die Hard Arcade and Vampire Savior (The first two games I got for it), but it's practically a treasure trove of awesome arcade games.

I wonder... you think anyone might be able to figure out a hack for the Saturn that allows you to play online with a modern connection? Ya know, like using one of those 'computer phones' out there, like Skype or something.

The Saturn is amazing (As is the Dreamcast) the fighter library is enough of a reason to buy both (If you dont mind importing) but there are so many worthwhile games on both platforms.

Get some House of the Dead.
Edit: Region mod it or just buy an action replay so you can get the jp import.

Say if you are playing your saturn online, but a phone call comes in at moment. I almost bought a saturn, but I didn't buy it because the power sluppy plug look very loose and damage. Its was hard to find the cables and controller. I do consider Dreamcast more fun.

i have a saturn and rarely use it i have 93 games for it. i am not saying i dont like the saturn i like it for the games that are not on the sony playstation. which is why i bought it. but alot of the games are easier and cheaper for the sony machine.

but if you are into imports that is the reason to get the saturn. i dont do imports though. i collect ntsc-u only i do have a mod chip i got from here and i also have used sega saturn region changer for ntsc-j games but i am not really interested in getting those games. i prefer the dreamcast over saturn and i have a vast collection of games for that i bought all of them new bitd. arcade games is what got me into gaming back in the late 70's early 80's and thats what i look for when buying games. i want a arcade feeling and games today do not have that feeling at all.

i got my saturn collection for $242.00 with 52 games 2 arcade sticks, flight stick and steering wheel. i look at it this way $4.65 a game everything else was free!!!! i could not beat that deal and it was the first thing i bought on ebay!

I've had a Saturn since they bundled Virtua Cop, VF2, and Daytona USA with it. I never owned a PS1 during its lifespan and really didn't feel I was missing out on much. I had a blast with the Saturn's original yet limited library.

I got my Saturn about 2 years back; it came with 2 controllers, Ultimate Mortal Kombat III, SimCity 2000, Virtua Cop 2, Virtua Fighter 2, and... a Legend of Zelda:Phantom Hourglass Game Guide. I have no idea how that got in there.

I started in December 09 my Saturn collection, I agree with you all, it's really a amazing machine. I've to admit, first I underestimated the Saturn, but now I totally love it.
