Its automotive base and clear coat. Painted with airbrush and spray gun. Clear coat sanded with 2500 grit sand paper and buffed out with 3 different buffing pads and 5 different polishing pastes. At the end it was waxed.Ziggy587 wrote:Care to share your success? What kind of finish did you use?

Just amazing. I like the design as well. How on earth did you paint it so beautifully. You should really put up a tutorial because that is masterful work. Congratulations.

The checkered floor similar to SMB3 goes perfect with the photos. That paint job is amazing, you could make some really good money painting systems and such with badass skills like that. Really nice job though, and the Nintendo purple color goes very well with the overall look as well.

I think my eyes just exploded due to the shear amount of awesomeness that picture is displaying.
