Cluck U. was a place that specialized in buffalo wings. You had a choice of Mild, Atomic, Nuclear, Thermo-Nuclear and 911.

Atomic was plenty hot for me. With nuclear, my ass was on fire the next day.

A few months ago, I took the Buffalo Wild Wings Challenge at, you guessed it, Buffalo Wild Wings.

I had to sign a waiver, had to be timed and monitor by a waiter (who was awesome, he kept screaming "You got this man! You've got this!) and the manager watched over the waiter. I beat the challenge, got my picture up on the wall, and got a free t-shirt which I have yet to wear.

It's always the next day that kills ya though. Food you taste twice, if you will.

This place is at my alma mater, U of I, but it didn't open until the year after I graduated. If I ever am in town again I'm going to have to stop in. Today I'm faced with a dilemma every day at work; do I get a cheesesteak or chicken fingers? With Fat Sandwich I wouldn't have to choose.

Cluck U was on man vs food as well. And a couple other shows on the travel network actually. I'm pretty sure when they go to film something for one show they film a whole crapload of B roll and use it for 5 different shows.
