No, that's what's so weird. I replaced the belt myself, it works and the disk spins, but it just stays on the "now loading" screen after I put the disk in. I'm guessing that its electronical because anything else I can think of would give me an error code.Breetai wrote:It isn't a belt problem?SplashChick wrote:I'm just wondering because the FDS I got doesn't work and the problem seems to be electrical as far as I can tell. I REALLY don't want to buy another and I doubt I'm going to get the guy who sold it to help much, so I'm trying to figure out how to fix the unit.
Does anything come up on the screen; hopefully an error message?

Do you have another disk you could test?SplashChick wrote:No, that's what's so weird. Not yet, but wouldn't a disk problem give me an error code?Breetai wrote:Do you have another disk you could test?SplashChick wrote:No, that's what's so weird. Re: Famicom Questions
I have bad disk that does the the same thing, it won't give an error code, but the disk keep spinning and staying on the now loading screen. Any other disk works fine.SplashChick wrote:Not yet, but wouldn't a disk problem give me an error code?Breetai wrote:Do you have another disk you could test?SplashChick wrote:No, that's what's so weird.
