Medal of Honor: Modern Warfare Ripoff Edition

I knew there was some sort of connection there.

A shame. I loved Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor: Underground - now, I'm seeing the series reduced to copy-catting. Pathetic. Why'd they have to drag the MOH name through the mud? Couldn't they have made a new franchise?
And why directly take off on MW? Couldn't they have made this new Medal of Honor more interesting by making it take place during the Vietnam War? Maybe used it to paint a picture of a war so rarely seen? Sigh...

You're so right and so damned wrong in the same sentence...BoringSupreez wrote:This is gonna be bad. And I don't mean that in a good way, either. What's with that guy's stupid little hat? And that beard? Soldiers don't look like that, at least not American ones.
Yea, this is gonna be a shitty knock off and EA should just bury the MOA name....
NO, you're absolutely wrong...plenty of special forces soldiers look like that.
Re: Medal of Honor: Modern Warfare Ripoff Edition
My history still isn't good, but is that the war that took place in a jungle? That would be fun. I remember playing some Vietnam Operation game for the Xbox, and that was a pretty fun game. I like the jungle, so many interesting things that can happen, especially in MGS3.the7k wrote:A shame. Re: Medal of Honor: Modern Warfare Ripoff Edition
I don't care if its a rip off, if it has a good story, campaign longer than 4 hours, and good multiplayer, I will get it.

Not just that, but the Vietnam War is considered one of the most brutal, confusing and demoralizing wars the United States has been involved in.
It's actually interesting, not just on a gameplay level, but also on an artistic level if things like My Lai Massacre could be handled with more effectiveness than "No Russian".

So.... in other words we should start to expect a massive cluster fuck of 'Middle East' based shooter, like in the 90/ early 00's all we got was WW2 shooters.
JUST FUCKING GREAT!

I had to check to make sure it wasn't a shot from Delta Force.lisalover1 wrote:Holy crap, I think that's Chuck Norris!Limewater wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:3rd_S ... _Group.JPGBoringSupreez wrote:What's with that guy's stupid little hat? Yeah, I'm with the7k on this one. The Vietnam war setting and story will be much more interesting than the modern battles. Plus, since it's already established history, they can think out some great set pieces.
It kind of seems that the modern battles are becoming the new WWII battles, in my eyes.
