Make a poll for the best system, period. I have a feeling the winner won't be current gen.
I would, but I couldn't have every system as a choice. I can only have 10 options so something is gonna get left out.

I see someone doesn't get my sense of humor.

Ps3. The xbox never appealed to me in general, and I only just got the old xbox so I could play the exclusive sega games like Jet Grind Radio Future, Gun Valkyrie, Otogi, Shenmue 2, and Panzer Dragoon. Currently, I'm jealous that the xbox keeps getting shmup love, but I shouldn't really care, as my dreamcast and ps2 have every schmup imaginable. There are very few exclusives on the 360 that I can eve think of, let alone any I really want to play. I don't really care about the wii all that much. I wanted to play no more heros on it and the new mario, but NMH is getting a ps3 port so I can live without touching it this gen.

First off, I won't even count the XBOX 360 because of the horrible failure rate. The Wii is dumb downed with shitty graphics, shitty netplay, shitty controls, and almost 100% shitty game library. The PS3 has great graphics, multimedia features, netplay, excellent controller and many good games. Too many of those games have DLC, which bothers me like crazy but you can't win em all. PS3 is the best overall current gen system imo.
I'm assuming the topic creator meant to say current gen, since we don't know anything about the next-gen systems yet.
Wow, fanboy much?
I'd vote wii/360 if it were an option. No one system right now really pleases me that much, they all have their fair share off annoyances.

They all suck! Maybe thats a little too harsh but, this has been the most disappointing console generation I can remember. I hate fragile, shitty hardware, cookie cutter games, yearly sequels and DLC thats on the disk and this generation has been stuffed with it. Most games lack any real innovation or originality.
Game companies are afraid to take risks and the games are really showing it. Between the cookie cutter FPSs, cliche JRPGs and tired Sandbox genre, I'm done just with this gen for awhile. I not going to say it all sucks, but when I can only count like 10 games that do something new and different theres a problem.
I understand people like more of the same and the general public have really bad tastes when it comes to games. It was like 2 weeks ago I was at Gamestop and saw this poor dude looking for some games for his new Wii. I saw the Gamestop employee pointing out Carnival Games and some other crappy game.
I felt that I needed to help this guy so I interupted and said to him that those games suck and he should really try something else. He replied that he was just looking for some cheap games to play. I pointed out Okami, Zack and Wiki and Madworld which were very cheap used. He looked at them and said thanks and I gave him a brief rundown of each game.
He bought them and I'm sure hes enjoying them much more than those crap games that GS employee was pointing out. The point is, Companies don't do enough to promote these gems and blame lack of sequels and canceled localizations of these games on poor sales. Sorry rant is over and back on topic.
I just remember more variety when it came to games of generations past. Its sad that consoles of today will not last more than 7 to 10 years. My 360 and PS3 look like a weak, pathetic excuse of a machine next to my 15 to 20 year old, tank like NES, Genesis and SNES.
