Trust me when I say the voice acting in this game, makes the game what it is, while still funny and contains a great story, the voice acting is some of the best every seen. You need to pick up the PC version (Or the Wii version for the extended / new areas).
though I'm sure the voice acting is great, it just doesn't mean much to me. I'm a pretty die-hard GB fanatic. And I don't own a single PC game. And I don't own a Wii. Trust me. I'm maybe the one guy in the world who thinks it's amazing that Broken Sword is even on a GBA cart. My copy is CIB and everything. I'm really into the whole concept of de-makes for GB/GBC/GBA... I love seeing HOW they fit something onto the Little Console That Could.
You seriously need to play this on PC. It costs next to nothing and will run on any system you can throw it on (thanks to the SCUMMVM). The GBA version just does not do the game justice. Without the voice acting it just isn't the same game. The voice acting is really that good.
Yes it's very impressive that it is on there, but it's just not the same, it really isn't, you're doing yourself and the game a disservice by playing the GBA port. It really doesn't do it justice.
I'm currently playing through the first two again, I love these games. They have a fond place in my heart ever since they first came out.
The game is made by Revolution and was published by Virgin Interactive. Revolution also made the excellent Beneath a Steel Sky (which can be downloaded for free from Revolution's website, which I recommend everyone to do, it will run in SCUMMVM, which is also free) and the underrated Lure of the Temptress (so many memories of playing that game on the Amiga when I was young) which is also available to download for free from revolution's website.
