I remember my cousin used to have an SNES Basketball game we played a lot (I think it was Jam), and there was a glitch where you could shoot from the other side of the court and always get it in. Don't remember that much though.

when you were "on fire" in NBA Jam, you could easily hit a 3 from across the court. That wasn't really a glitch though. It was just that being on fire upped yr shooting percentage.

j/k... kind of... retro sports games are always on the cheap. I'm glad yours have a home where they are loved though instead of abandoned and abused on some grimey gamestop shelf.
Inazuma wrote:Aw man. I was just about to make the same joke! Anyway, if you enjoy collecting sports game, that's cool. Must be nice how they are so cheap.
well, if you guys both calculated what's "all" in the table you are probably way off about $500.00. As you can see there is a book of Basketball Card Album next to the NBA 2K10 Anniversary Edition full of retro basketball legends and rookies cards (includes rookie cards of Kobe Bryant, David Robinson, Allen Iverson, etc, etc.)

Or we can just pick any games on the table and I'll play you for your $5.00 you hold so dearly and beat ya. :D BOOM SHAKA LAKA!

1. how is 2k10? I thought 2k9 was amazing. Plus it has KG on the cover! :)

2. have you played any of the NBA Jam GB/GBA releases? I'm curious if the GBA version gets close to the style and control of the SNES version at all? Or just overall thoughts on the GBC version. (I have the original GB version).
Answers:

1. 2K10 is ok. They made some improvement, but also cause a lot of bugs in the same time. I sticked with 2K9.

2. No, the GBA version did not get to the classic gameplay of the SNES at all. The GBC version is a good alternative for a good road trip if you miss playing it.

thanks, man. The GB port is kind of fun, but obviously not so detailed. I was hoping the GBA would be close to SNES. Does the GBA have any voice in it? Anyway, I'll keep my eye out for the GBC version. Though I never play games on car trips since I'm the one who drives. Haha.
