How often do you play your old school consoles (before 1985)
Re: How often do you play your old school consoles (before 1985)
I actually never play anything pre-NES. Before my time, I suppose.

Shame more people don't play the early consoles. The 2600 is essential for its paddle games. Circus Atari is awesome. And where else are you going to play Yar's Revenge? I still haven't found a racing game that's more fun than Enduro. H.E.R.O is as much fun as any number of NES platformers. Solaris is gorgeous and great. It's so easy to just pick it up and play too. Want to play 5 minutes of breakout? No problem. It's a great way to kill a bit of time while you're drinking a coffee, waiting for a DVD to burn, whatever.

Every couple of months - 2600/7800 for Warlords mostly.

I enjoyed Intellivision, Vectrex and Atari 2600 the first time around! (teenager)
Only got a ColecoVision recently, looks really good, will play it in the next weeks! (and mod it after N64).
I have some great memories of the above systems; and used to love going to the arcades around 1984/1985 and playing games there!

Not too often. 8 and 16 bit is my sweet spot. I do have a 2600 and a Flashback 2 that I play once in a while.

I play my 2600jr quite regularly but I really want to replace it with a heavy sixer. As soon as a good colecovision and boxed c64 pack come along my RF dedicated tv will have a few systems to plug into it.

As someone born in '94, the only old system I have is my mom's 2600 i discovered in the basement one day.
I actually played robot tank, it blows halo 3 away
