Earlier this year a complete copy went for $450.

It's true the CCE Edition is worth quit a bit. I happen to come across my at a local game store back in '98 when the owner asked if I would ever play online. I had no idea what he meant but said yes and it came included in my Saturn bundle purchase.

All in all I only spent $5 for the game ...

Do you have the actual NetLink version, does the disc say "NetLink Edition"? If not, you don't have the rare NetLink version. There were lots of Daytona USA CCE games sold that did not have the added NetLink features built in.
