Right - last night I had a go at getting to the copper lines of the button contacts but didnt have any luck at all.... 
I carefully rubbed away the green coating but just couldnt seem to get the copper line - eventually I just rubbed the dark green line (where the copper line is under) completely away?
I was being carefull so can't really understand why I didnt get to it. I obviouslt got to the copper under the normal green part but its the dark green lines I need to get past isnt it?
If anybody has some close up high res pics it would help loads.......
