I just realized that the ECA 10% discount is not giving any more codes out...I want to get this before the extra stuff goes away though...Hopefully it will still be there for a few more days :(

7k, I fully agree on the difficulty. It's the kind of difficulty that punishes you for being reckless and not strategizing.

So tonight I savagely murdered someone in order to get my body back. It was great, since I snuck up on him when he was at half health and did a backstab. Gotta love that cinematic zoom on the camera when you do so.

The Classic Game Room review of this looked pretty good. I don't have a PS3, but will put it on my watch list though.

Can you play coop? Mine is in the mail, so I will try to add most of you soon. My friends list is an exclusive club, you know :)

I don't believe there's any way to specifically play with a friend. The best you can do is coordinate with them, where your buddy in soul form uses his Blue Eye Stone (makes you available for coop) in a particular location and you wait for it to show in your game. And even then you only can play until the boss dies. I suppose you could trade off. You play in body form, buddy in soul form, and you take down a boss. Then you suicide and join his game in soul form to do the same boss. It's not easy to coordinate, however, as the only method of ingame communication you have is emotes; no voice chat or text with a guy who's joined your game.

Yeah, lack of communication makes co-op with a specific person hard to pull off. It's kinda meant for you to just ally up with random people. You can also only party up with people who are within the same level range as you. You can't even tell what the PSN id of a player is when you are co-oping, it just gives you the name of their character.

By the way, my character's name is "Vivian Darkbloom".

Well, I fought my first Black Phantom today. And my second. And my third. All of them practically back to back. Damn, now I know how Guts feels.

I managed to kill all of them, but they sure were bitter fights to the death. Didn't help that the first time I tried to summon a Phantom, he warped out as soon as he saw the Black Phantom. Pansies.

Ugh, I keep getting my ass kicked by the boss of 2-2. Things go pretty well until I get him to 1/5 life, then he start spamming attacks on me that I can't really dodge and can only block twice before staggering.

Just killed him, actually. On my first go, even. Magic Arrows are devastating against him. It also helps to have a Meat Shield Phantom.

I've been going melee and so far have only busted out a bow to take down the dragon in 1-2. I would have tried him again but I don't have the patience to go down the mineshaft again, and the other route just takes too long.
