Wolf3D for me too

the first one I owned was DooM Shareware however on floppy

I distinctly remember being in HMV in town and they had DooM shareware on their screens - I remember being absolutely amazed by the graphics eheh :)

Heretic was the first one i played and i was too scared to go to areas that were too dark i think i was around nine years old..ah the times when pc games had no age restrictions :D

Thats exactly how it was for me too lol. It's like when I played duke nukem too when in the second level I was scared every time I sprinted through the porno shop's black hallway. And the boss of the first level in shareware Diablo. That guy scared me shitless. I was like 7 or 8 mind you. :wink:

yeah the butcher was scary and he pretty much kicked my ass the first time i encountered him since i panicked when i heard him say "ahh fresh meat"

I started with wolf3D on my 486 66mhz ibm compatible.. it used to make me dizzy just lookin at it! :lol:
