Dude I am loving what you have done! Very amazing! The VMU looks perfect in there. For future projects, with people worried about the size limit on the VMU, maybe add additionally the 4X memory card in there.

I love the work man and hopefully, one day I Can try and tackle this project of sheer amazement.

Much props for ingenuity and creativeness! Maybe this will be a prototype for future production models?

Looking great so far!

One thing I did think about though, have you thought about wiring another controller to the board just for the VMU connector? It would be pretty sweet if you could transfer saves to and from the internal one, plus you could put the DC microphone on it and play some portable Seaman.

Thanks for the kind comments guys, appreciated. I am pleased you like my work!

Good idea Niode, however there aren't many games on the DreamCast that interest me, so the standard VMU should be all I need. Space is a bit "at a premium too".

Nice to see you joined us Evil Nod! and XCVG and DNT. It's almost like you guys know I am here (I wonder how  (ahem)) let's have more of "the crew" here too! The more the merrier!!

sevin0seven - the DC drive unit is very thick and can't be reduced, have done what I can, but probably looking at about 70-75mm thick for the whole thing, which is still fine and comfortable to use.

Once everything's ready get a few pictures of it being held, so we can get an idea of how it fits in the hand.
