OK so I got it working on the wii -you have to use the 1.0.0 RC1 as the last stable release doesnt support it.
I also found the CD rom version of the game, with all the voice acting, here if anybody else cares to play.
Only played for about 20 minutes and get absolutely nowhere but I will beat it, I will.
