Dude, you have no idea how hard they tried to stay in hardware. They tried their fucking asses off, and that's how we got the glory that is the Dreamcast. There's a huge list of reasons why quitting hardware should have been the smartest thing they ever did (it turned out not to be because of CSK selling the company to Sammy. Bitches. But there's no way Sega could have known that was gonna happen).d123456 wrote:Sega to port some forking cool arcade games to Dreamcast and slowly start getting interest back into dreamcast. They should be porting porting, porting.
RISE FROM YOUR GRAAAAAAAAAVE.
There's nothing wrong with the DC, at all.
VGA OUT. what?
Quiting hardware was about the dumbest thing they ever did.
Instead shoud've ported more games which were all forking theirs to begin with.
Imagine if Sony had loads and loads of arcade games in their name. What would you think they'd do? Yeah guess!

It is a little dream of mine for Sega to sell all the super-rare titles that got low-print runs in the US: Rez, Cosmic Smash, fully-translated Space Channel 5: Part 2 and Segagaga. Then use the original codes for all the complete or near-complete games that got ported to other systems before they got a chance to be put out on the Dreamcast: Virtua Fighter 4, Panzer Dragoon Saga, US Shenmue II, Super Monkey Ball, GunValkyrie, The House of the Dead III, et cetera. They would make some fucking bank on that if they just released them in limited-print runs. It's not practical at all, but those are all games I REALLY want to see running on my Dreamcast.
