Would a bin/cue iso work for the patch?

Yep, I used it with a bin - the readme says you need isos, so I just renamed my bin files as isos and the patch worked fine.

The patch is for the PSX version, but you can play it on PSP too.

Been checking their forums for nearly two years now. Now if only they release Deus Ex HDTP this year as well!

I would assume not. Providing just the translation then let's them claim it's for people who are using their own copy of the game to get an image. Providing the image is true piracy.
