Dealing with floppies is too much of an hassle unless you have nostalgia to justify it. As far as I know floppies are not particularly durable media - nothing lasts forevers but I have more faith in cartridges and CDs than in cheap media with moving parts such as floppies.
You will get a better idea of how much you can get for the stuff by checking completed auctions on ebay. I think the monitor is somewhat sought after by enthusiasts (and this thread seems to confirm there is enthusiasm regarding it
