In the Cleveland area:

#1 is Video Game Connection....stacks of games from every system, a Vectrex in stock, and even a great selection on 360 stuff. Arcade games to Atari to DVDs.

The other local chain (some in Columbus too) is the Exchange. Some NES, SNES, Genesis, and the very occasional Saturn/TG16/Atarti 2600 and NES Toploader. I bought 2 Saturns there for $75. Came with 3d pad, NiGHTS, MKII, X-Men children of the Atom, Virtual On, Panzer Dragoon I&II, some sports and fighting games, and both style control pads.

Unfortunately, the only other real retro store closed earlier this year.

i live in virginia beach..

we've got these 2 great stores called cool stuff, and replays. both of them usually have a good selection of retro titles, especially nintendo, and all the dudes there know what they're doing so its all priced moderately. for example, they don't charge over 12 bucks for anything predating last gen unless its highly sought after. even then, they're still cheaper than ebay.

Only place that is reliable to have retro games in stock within a 4 hour drive (round trip).

I'll definitely have to make the trip to these stores sometime... 8)

Phoenix Games

The selection of retro games is pretty good and prices are not bad for most part.

A Play 'n Trade opened recently near my house, in Miller Place, NY. It's the only place around me that I know of that carries retro games, and their selection is poor : (

In Akron Ohio there is a chain of two stores that sell a couple new items, mostly consoles, and anything that was traded in. I have purchased NES, SNES, Genesis, Dreamcast, and Wii games from them and I plan on going tonight to get a new SNES controller.

Prices are OK, they base everything off ebay selling prices... so pricing is hit or miss, but there is one 2 minutes from my house and the other I pass on my drive to/from work:
