Found an awesome retro store on craigs list but....

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Well, they are on display racks, and some are encased in plastic, so they're at least making an attempt. But the light fixtures and lighting are what are giving that impression. Who the hell uses wall fixtures in a store like that? I usually see those in bathrooms.

It is called cc gaming. It is a real store I go once a month to see what they have. It looks like a basement because it is a store within a computer arena/cafe. The prices are okay but most of the stuff you can find cheaper. Their website is www.ccgamingonline.com They are more known for their console modifications then anything else. If you want to find more retro stores in the atlanta area media mania, gamespot, and gamers trade are a little outside the perimeter.

I've been there twice. Once in the old location and then once when they moved. They're now hidden away in the back of a computer repair/internet cafe thing. Both times I've left fairly dissapointed. It looks like they have tons of stuff but most anything you'd actually want is overpriced. They had an average collection of genesis stuff, but most the boxes were in really bad shape, and the games were still a lot higher than what you'd find at play n trade. They had perfect dark sealed for n64 for $20 something when you can find it on ebay for under $10. Also the snes games were poorly arranged in bags on pegs and it takes forever to look through them. And 95% of it was the games nobody really wants.

That said, it's too far from me, but if you're closer you might be able to check it out more frequently and find something worth while.

Even though their prices are high every thursday - saturday they have a 30% off on all retro titles. The prices even up after that. I bought a boxed sega cd for $35 from them and boxed 3DO for $40. So like any place there are deals, you just got to look for them. For some reason they also knock off Tax. Don't think that is legal but the owner said he could do it form some reason, something about that they do repairs.

Gamespot is in Conyers it is 15 miles east of atlanta, just search gamespot on craigs list for address. Gamers trade is located in acworth 20 miles Northwest of atlanta off of I-75. http://www.gamers-trade.com is their website. Media mania is about 10 miles south of atlanta off of I-675. Of all the places Gamers trade is the biggest and has the most selection.
Also i just found a spin off store of cc gaming i am going to try tomorrow. Location: 2750 Jiles Rd-Kennesaw Ga, 30144 hopefully it is cool.
