Great research done on their end, lots of titles I was unaware of (mostly from JP).
Agreed with everyone else, the layout was a tad off, many series were listed as siblings and not descendants including the kart series and many others.

Pretty epic. Looks like they were going for more of a chronological layout toward the end rather then a straight tree - I agree some of the placements are out of whack.

I've started trying to "fix" it on about 3 separate occassions and each time got bored and thought 'fuck it'. It's a lot harder and more time consuming than it looks!
An ultimate version would have the Donkey Kong Series sprouting out from Donkey Kong 3 and think of where you could take it from there - Thanks to Diddy Kong Racing you could add the Banjo-Kazooie and Conker games to it - it would just keep going and going. It would be an epic. Thanks to Link's Awakening could you even tie it into the Zelda games?
