At home, i have a list of co op arcade games specifically for MAME night with buds. If you open this list to schmups, then it'll go on forever. I am always interested in titles i may have missed, but this list can go into the 1000's. Just a handful would be:

Gauntlet
Offroad
Armored Warriors, 3player
AvP

couple good gun games like:
Alien 3
T2

edit:uhg i just had to list more. but there are 100's.
Double Dragon
Cadillac and dinosaurs
Three Wonders
Metal Slug
ALien Syndrome
Sunset Riders
Bubble Bobble
Joust
Bucky Ohare
Final Fight
Golden Axe
Captain Commando
The Avengers
Altered Beast
Gain Ground
Badlands
Vendetta- 4p
Crime Fighters - 4p
Desert Assault - 4p
Eliminator

Seeing a lot of mention of Sunset Riders. That brings back some fond memories--definitely a cool game.

If you have unlimited money you can get like 32 Daytona USA 2 (or 1) machines and have an awesome 32 player co-op race. Then invite me to your place to play.

I was wondering if I was going to be the first with Bubble Bobble, but I was too late for that.

Bubble Bobble and sequels (there are some that are practically arcade only, as far as I know).
Heartily recommended.

Rodland as well, as mentioned recently in a "what game is this" thread.
