well i play and original copy of D2 and most of the game the laser sounds loud and it's working hard so who know? :?: but yeah dreamcast's are cheap you can get another eazy. :)

If it helps, I've had my DC since launch and I've never had a problem with running burns, the only thing that went wrong with it was the PSU fault which is easily rectified.
