Not to put anyone down but I really don't think this really happened. I mean two years? As someone mentioned above it's usually 6-8 months. Boxed CDi? Don't think so. He probably said worn box because he wanted to make it more believable. Plus, the ole' broken camera trick. The broken camera trick is even less believable than saying you don't have one.

All in all, I really think this didn't happen and he's a liar. Plus, this is one of his first posts here...

slowslow, we often get people whos first, and sometimes only post, is to showcase something they own. Take a look here:

Hes got 12 post, most related to his topic.

I am not saying that this is always the case, Arbitern1 may be telling the truth, but it does happen.

The two years thing does seem a little out there, but I can believe that he did find this in someone's abandoned storage room. It happened to me, but to a much greater degree. This is a tl;dr version of what I got:

"Three storage rooms full of vintage electronics. $200. I'm currently trying to itemize everything so I can post a complete list, but lets just say I have about two of almost every console there is up to PS1. TG16s, TGCDs, CD-i, NESes (3 toaster, 2 toploaders in box so far), SNESes, N64s, 3DOs, Sega Master Systems, Genesises, Jaguars, Odysseys, I'm bleeding Ataris, various Tele-Games systems, various Pong clones, the list goes on. I should mention that nearly everything I listed here has a box with or to go with it."

What does it matter if he is lying? It's not like he's getting anything from it. :P

maybe he died or something , could he get his stuff back if he paid for the two years and an extra penalty
I think if he comes back from the dead he should get it back for free.

no it goes for his children or relatives.

I think maybe its stolen and the guy stored them there not knowing what to do with them since he thought it is old technology. Could be anything.

Any way why would any one lie about such a thing
