I skipped on three pristine arcade games for roughly $500 a pop when I was in highschool. Looking back they were Asteroids, a Joust cocktail, and a Disc of Tron environmental. Had I bought them, I could easily sell them now for double if not quadruple the original purchase price.

^Yes, and seeing how Asteroids is a vector game it would have paid off quickly.

I went to some old lady's house a few weeks back to check out this lot of Commodore stuff. She had a lot of stuff, but wanted too much for it. I picked out 1 monitor, an Amiga 500, a C128, and a floppy drive for each, and offered her $150. That's more than fair, the Amigas you see going for >$100 on ebay have a lot of extras, and a C128 isn't worth much at all. But no deal, she wanted twice that.

It was a very impressive collection though. Tons of books, boxed software, and peripherals I'd never heard of. Easily $1000 worth of stuff. It sucked walking away from that empty handed.

A mod needs to go back in time and fix this.

My not so score would be nit buying an NES at Goodwill that had a lightgun, 2 controllers, all of the cords, and the SMB/Duckhunt combo cartridge, all for $20. Well, at least 4 months later I found an even better deal on an NES at Salvation Army, so it was okay after all.

Allright, today I went to a local second-hand shop and the owner let me check the backshop for old consoles. Meanwhile one of the girls who worked there refused to buy a Genesis with lots of games for 5 euro T_T.

Fortunatedly they are going to call me if they see any other console. They are going to sell them to me for 10 euro. It's doesn't matter what kind of console, 10 euro complete. Also the Genesis guy is a frequent costumer so if they see him again they will tell him to bring the console yay.
