360 has the widest variety and quantity of games of any current generation system. There ya go.
I like old games
I like new games

I have always had a problem with the 360. It has most of the things that the PS3 has (except GOW and Halo
)
I personally try to stay a generation or two behind. Its cheaper, and you end up with less crappy games that received pre-release hype.
EDIT: Castle Crashers! Thats just about my only favorite thing about the 360.

Aside from Raiden Fighter Aces the only 360 games I have is a few system-exclusive RPGs (technically I also have Banjo Kazooie, but that wasn't a planned purchase). I picked up the system mostly for completion's sake and because I did want those couple of RPGs. Plus, I got the system for cheap. Bought a PS3 for $200, sold it for $300, and bought the 360 Premium.

I'd be all over a 360 if they'd just make a region free model. All the games I want are in Japan. Heck, I'd just import a Japanese 360 if I didn't have to worry about RRoD.
Everything else I want for the 360 is, or will be on, the PS3 (KOF12, Blaz Blue) or Dreamcast (Ikaruga, Rez, Trigger Heart Excelica, Soul Calibur), plus I already have an Xbox so I'm good on the backwards compatibility count too.

In my opinion if you have a computer I see no reason at all to buy a XBOX360. In fact if you don't have one save the money for one and avoid that console.
In the end you are better off with a PC, there's nothing in Xbox you can't have on PC.

Exactly. What other system allows you to have fun alone in a forest with a little boy?

I keep debating on one myself. The only disc based games I want on it are Perfect Dark Zero - which I bought a couple weeks ago anyway ($7 was just in my price range), and Halo 3. Both because the coop story modes are quite enjoyable. They also support legacy controls and 4 player splitscreen. Normally that would not be enough for me to even consider it, but there are four download titles that I think are top tier. Alien Hominid HD and Virtual On are ports, but fantastic ports, and I have become a fan of N+ (though I have not played it enough). To me the most pressing reason for me to buy a 360 is Castle Crashers. Even though I beat it twice last weekend, I want to play it more. Its like the D&D CPS2 games on speed and even more enjoyable in 4 player than the D&D games - well all of it but that damn Industrial Castle. Now if only there was a PC port...
