Ok, just making sure. It's just, when you said that about the top loader's controllers, I had to think about it for a moment.

this has been covered before, theres no need to replace the connector unless the one in it is corroded, just bend the pins back to where they should be.

I'd just stick with a regular one unless the top loader is cheap and your a collector.

I never owned actually seen a Top load NES before, but I don't like how it looks. The normal NES imo has a classic look and it gets less dust inside.I want the normal NES,but I can't find one for a decent price.

So... follow the replacement procedure but instead of actually replacing it just bend the shit? Why, I could do that right now! (Has anyone actually done this?)

Get the pin connector from eBay, easiest and cheapest place to get it from in my opinion. It's VERY easy to install, should take 5-10 minutes. Make sure to clean all of your carts before using them on your new pins.

a lot of times u can jus swab a little alcohol on the pins and then dry it off. that will clean the system and make it work quite nicely. thats wat i did with mine.

This should be tried first, but a lot of the times it is pins that are bent back.

If I remember the top loader is RF connector only. The toaster model is more feature rich and more iconic looking in a entertainment center than a top loader if you ask me.
