So, so true.
I like RTS games, but as soon as I play them online I hate the entire genre, the people who design the games and their entire families. I want to just tank rush their faces in. Then strangle them with my mouse cord.
Yeah, I make a point of never playing standard modes online in RTS's, as I just cannot think in the required way for being good at them.
Now, the crazy UMS maps in SC and WC3, those are good times.

Yeah, I haven't tried online yet. I barely know the game... I would expect to get raped fairly quickly - but then isn't that the way things start out in all online games? When I started playing Gears 1 on XBL I was destroyed. I was shocked - I considered myself pretty ok. It me at least a solid month to get competitive, and another 2-3 months to get truly good.
The trouble with Sins is I think it might be too long a game for online. I've played small maps against the computer and its about 2 hours. And its *really* hard to rush! You have no clue where the enemy is, there are neutral attackers at every unclaimed planet, and your units are very weak starting out. Has anyone had success with rushing?
