lol i live at home so like all my wages go on them lolchipperkwah wrote:Where does an 18 year old dude get the $$$ for so much awesome (and expensive) stuff?!
not unheard of. A guy in my highschool ran a successful site and actually bought a Mercedes with the money he made from the ads. Plus there is maybe about 6 or 7 grand worth of gaming there (don't get me wrong, it is still an epic collection). Over 3 years, i'm sure just about anyone with a steady job could get that stuff if they really wanted it. The trick is really wanting it. As much as i would love to own a 64dd, what the fuck am i going to do with it after i have it? All the games are in Japanese and none of them really look like i would really need to play them. There arn't really any classics that i can't get elsewhere in there. Attach a 500-1000 price tag on that and... i'd rather pass. All that said, i still drool a little when i see them in people's collections. What an interesting piece of hardware.chipperkwah wrote:Where does an 18 year old dude get the $$$ for so much awesome (and expensive) stuff?!

lets say the collection is worth something like 10 grand. 3 years breaks down to about 275 bucks worth of gaming a month.
You also gotta consider that at 18 you don't have much in the way of living expenses. Oh to be young! heh.
Same here, for some consoles I only buy collect Japanese games (unless it's an RPG, then I get the US version). One of my weird habits.johnnydoyle123 wrote:lol yea mate totally agreenickfil wrote:not unheard of.
