I was really excited when I read the article from Mozgus. Unfortunately for me, I haven't upgraded my PC in a long and I'm still running an Athlon XP 2600+.

According to the FAQ, SSF won't run on any of the Socket A processors.

Also you might get better framerate from earlier verisons of ssf if the latest verison runs to choppy.

Is that something you've experienced yourself? Cause I would think that with new optimizations and improved code, it would run faster.

Haven't used SSF in a LONG time though, so you'd probably know better.
