Until I replace the 72 pin in my NES I keep both hookedup - toploader through rf, standard through AV. My toploader was in bad shapen when I bought it but it plays most games fine. Some games, ie Kid Icarus, just do not load so the standard one comes to the rescue. Once I replace the 72 pin and clean up the insides well the toploader is going into storage.
I should get around to ordering that and learning how to install them/properly clean carts. There seems to be a lucrative market there that is only growing.

Hey guys, okay so the toploader works fine...but the sound is basically....static, like television static ><!, could someone offer their advice, thanks.
