This man speaks the truth.
My favorite genre as well.
Meh, they seem very expensive for similar games. Here, RE games are £10 each. I wouldn't be happy unless I had them all, which means at least £50... I think I'd prefer another genre first, as that genre isn't my favorite.
Honestly Eternal Darkness is nothing like Resident Evil, it's a very different breed of game that just likes to mess with you more than anything. It's a horror game, but similarities end there.

Also RE4 is pretty different in gameplay approach compared to Resident Evil and Zero.

I would say skip out on Zero because I felt that it was the most underwhelming. At least get RE4 and Eternal Darkness.

some worth checking out that haven't been mentioned...

the two baten kaitos games if you enjoy card based rpgs.
Geist is an odd fun game.
Skies of arcadia legends
star fox adventures
tales of symphonia
warioworld
Odama with microphone!
Pikmin 2

cubeivore looks really boring to me, but for some reason it is pretty popular and rare. I wouldn't recommend the mega man collections because they swap the a and b buttons and it makes it play awkwardly.

however- put me down for another vote of Resident evil. At least pick up the remake of the first game.

Lol, when I was typing the list of games out I knew I was forgetting one. But then I couldn't figure out for the life of me which one it was.... Star Fox Adventures is a great game.

I would actually like to get the Mega Man collection, especially if I got the Hori Digital Pad (see other thread). It's just that it only came out in America, so I would have to import it... Looks like I would be paying almost as much on shipping as I'm paying for the game.

Any opinions on the Sonic Gems Collection (with Sonic CD, Sonic R and Sonic: The Fighters)? I think I would buy it just to have it rather than to play it, but if the emulation is any good, and I get that Digital Pad, it might be worth it.

As for Starfox Adventures, I borrowed it off a friend when it first came out and completed it within a week. I cant actually remember it now, might pick it up if I see it cheap on my usual game crawl.

It's funny, but I have never wanted to mod my Cube. Apart from the region mod I got on my original Jap Cube (means it can play both Jap and USA games, my parents got this as a Jap Gamecube was cheaper than a US one in the Middle East where they bought it for me), I've always wanted to collect the physical games for the Cube rather than have a large collection of backups, as I have for DC, Saturn and PS1. Must be my Nintendo fanboyism shining through.

The games were actually ported not emulated, which nowadays is odd to see but makes for a much better gameplay experience.

Sonic Fighters is enjoyable but is no Smash Bros or Virtua Fighter.

Sonic R is fun but takes some getting used to.

Sonic CD is Sonic CD 'nuff said.

Standard Game Gear games as bonuses along with both Vectormans.

Another thing is that Sonic R, and Sonic CD are ports of the PC versions and reguardless of region (pal, ntsc) has only the american soundtrack. If you're willing to import it the jp. ver. does retain the original soundtrack though.
