Haha. Go on 1up.com and download some Broken Pixels. Its a video podcast where they make fun of bad games. They have an episode with that game.

While we're discussing the finer points of White Men Can't Jump, check out Aircars, Fight for Life, and Club Drive!

Jaguar is definitely a mixed bag. I love some games, and I loathe others.
There are quite a few MUST haves, and others that are merely interesting.
Some of the best games cost a fortune, so don't feel bad if you grab iso's of the cd's.

First. Get an S-Video cable. http://morethangames.a8maestro.com/prod ... ert-g4.htm

All of the classic and Jeff Minter games are great:
Defender 2000
Tempest 2000
Missle Command 3d
Breakout 2000

Great:
Rayman
Atari Karts
- I love the amiga sountrack
Battlemorph - impressive 3d
Super Burnout - fast and vibrant colours.
Wolfenstein and Doom- best ports on a console. If you really want to play these games.
AvP- it's dated, but you have to see it.
Sensible Soccer- more amiga greatness
Primal Rage - the best home port if you liked this game.

Other notable/playable titles:
Flipout
Iron Soldier
Baldies
Attack of the Mutant Penguins
Power Drive rally
Pitfall
Raiden
World Tour Racing

Are the Rayman and Sensible Soccer titles worth it considering they're available on other consoles? Meaning, is Rayman on Jaguar superior to its ports and is Sensible Soccer worth it over, say, Sensible World of Soccer?

sensible soccer is more playable on the jag, but you lose a little of the management. no big loss IMO. I dont have to lug around my amiga, or mess with their emu's.

Rayman is definitely worth it on the jag. For one it's a cart. way cooler. Ubisoft dumped a lot of effort into this title and it shows. the ONLY downside to the jag version is the sound and 1 layer of parallax. I prefer beeps and boops to the cd soundtrack, but just my opinion. the jag has significantly more colours , higher screen rez, no load times, and smoother scrolling.

don't believe me? well someone else did all the work for me. i don't agree on all accounts, but it's another opinion.
