Niode decided to cancel my thread asking for QuakeLive names of anyone wanting a match, because this old thread that hasn't been updated for a long time it "exists". My thread with details was on this thread

This thread is old, 2009, the names on it won't be live any more, however whatever: so please post your Quakelive names here if you still play it and want to play against others and i'll add you to my "friends" list; it is an amazing game; and because i've paid for Pro membership on it, can set up private arena games so we can frag match with people we "know of" which is far more fun.

highdesert, Quake Live is great! I used to play Arena Quake about 12 years ago then went to the True Combat mod for Quake/WolfenstienET. It would be cool if True Combat made a come back, but I doubt it. soo now its back to Quake, right where I started. Assault Cube is cool too.

Added you to the list; it will be great to play against you sometime! (details on my forum about some matches, although if they are on, it's usually around 9pm-11pm UK time).

Anyone else want to join up?

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I played my first match and went 29-3.

EDIT: It was a fluke, just went 11-40

I'll add that name when I next get onto Quakelive!
